Fantastic. Doing budget travel for 35 years. You can find “relative value” anywhere and overpriced EVERYWHERE! But after returning in 2020 from Argentina and Chile (OMG!) add Argentina to you list. We also found Bali (Indonesia as a whole but be careful!) very cheap.
We look forward Cambodia, Vietnam and Thailand this year if everything normalizes to some level. Dive boat booked……

Agree 100% We went From Potong Beach Thialand to Zamboanga Philippines, and found The Philippines to be more affordable for sure.
We lived extremely lavishly for $200 a day $100 ea. Spent more ofcourse Because i ended up with 4 extra large suitcases after shopping. But Had a Blast bargaining and got whole new wardrobes for my whole family.
And so many beautiful things that would have cost So much more in US
