I’d highly recommend self driving pilansberg. You can always hire a game drive while there. It is a great “little” park and has all the game -rhino, wilderbeast, lion, leopard, hippo, cape buffalo, etc… the herds might be smaller, but it has also recently added thousands of private acres to enlarge the park. It’s a beautiful place. Kruger will give you more options and very large herds, but being the size of England give yourself a few days. Want a rush? Do a walking bush safari with rangers. We went on foot tracking a pride of lion. what a rush!
