I\u2019m not going to lie: I think I have a pretty good travel blog. (You probably do too if you’re here.) I work hard to provide excellent practical travel advice to help you travel better, but I\u2019m not the only great travel blogger out there. In fact\u00a0\u2014\u00a0and I know this might be shocking\u00a0\u2014\u00a0there\u2019s a lot about travel that I\u2019m not an expert on. Family travel? No idea. Travel as a woman? Clueless. Information on hotels? Only a little. Photography? I can manage to turn my camera on if that counts. Food expert? Only at eating it.<\/p>\n

I\u2019ve realized that it\u2019s been a while since I last talked about the best travel blogs out there \u2014 the ones I read \u2014 so I wanted to take a moment and highlight some of my favorite travel blogs that can also help you travel better, cheaper, and smarter. There are so many helpful blogs out there, I feel like I’m long overdue to point you to some of them:<\/p>\n

Raimee Travel<\/a><\/h3>\n

\"RaimeeRaimee is one of the best new creators out there. She used to run the social media for this site but has since gone on to do her own thing, teaching people how to travel smarter via incredible videos on Instagram and TikTok. Her website features lots of incredible itineraries, guides, and advice for young travelers.<\/p>\n

27 Travels<\/a><\/h3>\n

\"27Gabi and Shanna are a lesbian couple based in NYC and provide a lot of information catering to vegans and LGBTQ travelers. They, of course, have guides and resources for everyone, but those two subjects are their specialities. They got off the beaten path a lot and share a lot of good insights on travel.<\/p>\n

Budget Traveller<\/a><\/h3>\n

\"AlexOne of the OG travel bloggers, Kash produces a lot of content that helps backpackers travel the world better, more sustainably, and get off the beaten path more. He’s probably the only person I know who has stayed in more hostels than I have! He’s an incredible writer and is well informed about travel trends and what people want. And, like his name suggests, it’s all about budget travel.<\/p>\n

Ottsworld<\/a><\/h3>\n

\"AlexAnother OG travel blogger, Sherry Ott provides a lot of incredible information for adventurous women forty and above. While any blog listed here can help travelers of any age, Sherry has a perspective that non-Gen Z and millennials will find really helpful. She’s been to over 72 countries and does a lot of hiking and nature-based activities. She even does travel planning and turns small group tours. She’s the real deal.<\/p>\n

Oneika the Traveller<\/a><\/h3>\n

\nOnieka is one of my favorite blogs as she talks about the “real” side of travel and is not afraid to get political, talk about racial prejudice when she travels and discusses life as a black female traveler. She’s an Emmy award-winning host that has been to over 100 countries and her tips and tricks are super practical. She also provides a lot of advice on family travel as she now travels with her husband and daughter.<\/p>\n

Prince of Travel<\/a><\/h3>\n

\"AlexIf you’re looking for amazing airline breakdowns and detailed explanations on how to use your points and miles, Ricky is the guy. He has detailed breakdowns of airline loyalty programs and flight experiences. His in-cabin videos are amazing. And, if you’re Canadian, he’s especially someone you should follow as he is the best resource for points and miles in Canada. He also has a travel concierge program that can help you use your points.<\/p>\n

The Blonde Abroad<\/a><\/h3>\n

\nKiersten’s site focuses on the intersection of family and travel. I think her blog is one of the best for female travelers. She’s been blogging for over a decade and her website features hundreds of pages of helpful tips for solo female travelers looking to do bougie on a budget. She’s regularly featured in media for her advice. She also runs one of the biggest independent tour companies for women travelers out there.
